Its all about a phenomenon called "LIE"

Its all about a phenomenon called "LIE"

Here is something we all do day after day keeping aside the story of Hari Chandra & Gandhi ji apart... LIE...A hard train of thoughts to follow,

Every one of us have lied, sometimes we have been smarter, sometimes not exactly so, let me not get into minute details & analysis of lies

Adding some flesh to this bone would be a perfect recipe i feel, So What motivates people to lie?

Either me, you or anyone?!?! Of course a million dollar hypothetical question? Which has to be answered without lying!!!

Many lies are simply for the purpose of maintaining self-esteem and social contacts by avoiding insults or discord. Perhaps it is how we perceive others to perceive us, surely a complex phenomenon to be understood.

Micro Expressions betray us when we lie many times, We try to cover our feelings with fake smiles, but involuntary face muscles reveal this hidden emotions is normally believed for detecting a person through his expressions when he/she lies.

Comedy is hard, in large part because it's supposed to look easy. Carefully crafted sentences must be delivered with both precision timing and a sense of spontaneity; Likewise, as experts say Lies boil down to the shifting sands of the self and trying to look good to both ourselves and others.

It is tied with our self-esteem, we feel and find that as soon as our self-esteem is threatened, we immediately begin to lie at high…much higher levels

Considering the foregoing, lying is one of the best approach in protecting our privacy at times and avoid hatred too. Sometimes lies will be under the label of tact and politeness which are normally less than serious.

Similarly lies which are well toasted, leaving out the truth or adding some false essence in order to betray the fact are always more than serious.

Animals do deceive the other animal of different species for their survival but humans are wired to deceive both themselves and others.

Some are often endangered to separate facts from fiction. It is their normal social discourse not intended to impress others often but always to maintain ourselves the way in which others wants us to be and justify that we are more than perfect.

Few interesting facts in less than serious lies are that Extroverts lie more than introverts, obviously men lie no more than women still men lie to make themselves look wiser before others whereas women mostly lie to comfort the person they are affectionate.

Interestingly a research reveals that people tend to lie more to their coworkers than to strangers precisely to make their self-worth valued.

To summarize my intentions to write such a complicated phenomenon in my blog is just to visualize the effects of lies we do often either consciously or not.
Yes we have to lie to make someone close to us (parents/siblings) to make them comfortable,
We have to lie to our friends/spouse that we are honest to them,
We have to lie to our boss to prove that we are sincere,
We have to lie to our coworkers/subordinates to justify that we are supportive
and it continues as the case may be different to each of us.

May be this is to remind every one of us that we ensure that it has become inevitable to lie, since relationships are made sometimes wonderful in some way or the other with such sweet coated and some smart, less than serious lies. Eventually when the dose becomes high, unavoidably it would ruin the superglue of our social setup – love, affection, intimacy etc.
but anyhow we would limit to ensure our legacy of life
